Rates

Registration Discount
First time clients are entitled to a 5% registration discount on their first booking. 
This discount applies to any of Uptime’s services, with the exception of rehearsals.
 

Recording 
The recording rate is $90 per hour, with a one hour minimum. The recording rate includes tracking, editing, mixing, Uptime Engineer (required), Control Room, Live Room, Isolation Room, Steinway B Grand Piano, Yamaha Stage Custom Drums, and a large selection of equipment, microphones, and amps (see equipment list). Purchase of Master Tracks (Data CDs, 
Data DVDs) and one Audio CD master is required. Pre-session Set-up, Personal Piano Tuning, and additional Audio CDs are optional. Master Tracks, Audio CDs, Pre-session Set-Up, and Personal Piano Tuning charges are not included in the hourly rate. *Tax included.
 

Block Rates
Five Hour Rate: Book five hours or more, and receive a discounted rate of$85 per hour. *Tax included.
Eight Hour Rate: Book eight or more continuous hours and receive a discounted rate of $80 per hour. *Tax included.


Mastering
The mastering rate is $100 per hour (includes engineer). *Tax included.
 

Rehearsal
Regular Rehearsal Rate: $40 per hour 
(includes use of all rehearsal equipment with the exception of the Steinway B Grand piano). *Tax included.
Steinway Rehearsal Rate: $45 per hour 
(includes use of all rehearsal equipment including the Steinway B Grand piano). *Tax included.


Video Record your Performance
The video recording rate is $120 per hour. Media charges are not included in the hourly rate. The post production rate is $75 per hour. *Tax included.


CD Graphic Design
The graphic design rate is $65 per hour. A free consultation with our graphic designer is included. Our graphic designer will provide you with an estimate based on your materials and budget. Media charges are not included in the hourly rate. *Tax included.


Miscellaneous
Audio CD: $10
Pre-session Set-up: $15
Personal Piano Tuning: $70


Master Tracks 
Data CD: $20
Charges for master tracks include labor. For this reason, no hourly rate is charged during the production of master tracks.
